Buyer Beware of Changes in Ingredient Formula Changes

Buyer beware on ingredient formula changes. This is NOT the same product as the old Women's Ultra Mega Active without Iron, even though GNC tells you it is. The former product had 5000 IU of Vit A and this only has 1500 IU. There also no folate in the new product and the new product has alot more fillers. The change came when GNC sold to a Chinese Gov't owned company due to going bankrupt. So please make sure you are reading labels. I no longer have confidence in the product and have stopped purchasing, which is a shame as I used the former vitamin for decades and thought it was the best on the planet!

Great Product. Been taking GNC women's vitamins now for 25 or 30 years!

GNC is the only vendor I found that has multivitamin without iron. Due to an iron overload from natural foods, it was recommended that I reduce my iron intake. I discovered that iron overload can be a genetic disposition. Thank you GNC for supplying it.

Another change of formula

I received this vitamin instead of my usual one Women's Ultra Mega without iron which had replaced Women's Ultra Meg a without iron and iodine. I decided to keep it instead of sending it back. I looked at the ingredients and found it has 150 mg of iodine (a big surprise) but no choline, folate or fruit & veggie blend. I have used your vitamins for ages, in spite of their changing formulas. Don't want a vitamin for "Active" as I am well over 50! Hope this is correcte when I receive my next standing order.

Having Crohns Disease I have used GNCs Women’s Ultra Mega without iron in the past. Worked wonders for my pregnancy!! Have no idea why I stopped taking them but have begun again. Great product.

I've always liked these vitamins and have been taking them for years, but they stopped making them with Iron. Now I need to take an iron supplement. Wish they would come with Iron.

Women's Ultra Mega® Active without Iron

Initially purchased as NO iron, but also continue due to the comprehensive vitamin coverage. I can "almost" take this alone, but need additional calcium and Magnesium. Would like to see increased Vitamin E and Hyaluronic Acid.

expected better from GNC

I was searching for an iron free multivitamin and had great expectations for GNC...and I'm disappointed. First off, a company like GNC should know better than to use something like talc as an ingredient that isn't USP grade. I can't speak for everyone, but I'd like to know for certain that the talc in my vitamin is free of asbestos and has met strict requirements. Natural vanilla mint flavor with Stevia? Yuck. No joke, I might be able to look past questionable ingredients and manufacturing standards but the taste of the vanilla mint on a vitamin is just gross. I tried giving these to my best friend and my mother and neither of them liked the taste either.<br /><br />Still looking for a quality multi that doesn't have added iron. I'll use the 2 bottles of these I purchased but I won't be buying more.

I'll never change to another vitamin!!

I've been taking Ultra Mega since I can remember, and then went through menopause, and couldn't take iron, and there it was! I even one time tried another brand, and I couldn't believe the difference in how I felt after about 3 weeks - seriously!<br />You can find a better vitamin. I also take the Ultra Mega Active - both the best!!!
